The List Growth Report tracks how your marketing-allowed contact lists change over time, providing insights into both additions and removals. This helps you understand how your contact lists are evolving and lets you evaluate the effectiveness of your acquisition and retention efforts across email and SMS channels.

  • The top graph shows the general trend of your marketing-allowed contact list.
  • The bottom graph shows how many contacts were added and removed in a given time period.

Using the list growth report, you can:

  • Monitor growth trends: See whether your contact list is growing or shrinking over time, indicating the effectiveness of your lead generation strategies. If your list grows significantly after certain campaigns or promotions, you can identify what worked and replicate it in future efforts.
  • Understand contact churn: Identify potential issues (e.g., high opt-out rates). 
  • Segment Your Strategy: Viewing growth by either email or SMS helps you tailor your marketing strategy by channel. See if your email or SMS list grows at a faster rate. This way you can potentially dedicate more resources to the channel that’s performing better.

This data helps you focus on strengthening your acquisition and retention strategies, ensuring you are reaching the right audience while keeping your list healthy.
